Two new papers out!

The last two weeks have been good. Field work is kicking off and two papers have come out online. Scott McLeay's (M.S. alumni) paper on amphibian tissue stoichiometry and nutrient excretion across development just cam out in the Journal of Freshwater Ecology. This paper came from his first thesis chapter! 

Additionally, a paper from some of Carla's post doctoral work is in early view at Hydrobiologia. This work contrasts excretion rates of multiple aquatic insect taxa and fish and stream nutrient demand across 3 high elevation Andean streams. This paper has been selected to be highlighted as the cover article of the upcoming issue!
