A collaborative review paper put together by Carla, Dan Allen (University of Oklahoma), Lisa Davis (UA Geography), and Zach Nickerson (MS student) was recently accepted into Geomorphology for a special issue as part of the Binghampton Symposium. This year's Binghampton Symposium is to be held at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. This year's symposium will focus on Resilience and Bio-Geomorphic Systems. Carla will be highlighting this paper at the symposium and Zach plans on presenting a poster on his MS work. The paper highlights the bidirectional feedback between ecological and geomorphic systems which is necessary for maintaining resilient stream systems.
