Dr. Carla made it to Bama!

I am a new assistant professor at the University of Alabama. My lab will be investigating the role of organisms in promoting ecosystem function in freshwater ecosystems. My lab is not organism-specific, but I have been using unionid mussels and aquatic insects as model organisms to investigate the role of organisms in consumer-driven nutrient recycling.
