We traveled to Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas for the Binghampton Symposium October 13-15, 2017. Carla gave an invited talk on ecogeomorphology and the role of organisms in sediment and nutrient cycling. Zach gave a poster on the role animals play in altering sediment biogeochemistry. Lisa Davis and her student, Matt Koerner also traveled. Matt presented a poster on our summer enclosure experiments highlighting how mussels may impact sediment transport, cohesion, and compaction. The field trip, talks, and conversations were great!
